Training schedules for specific age groups are determined by long term development guidelines set by BC Athletics. Most track practices take place RAIN or SHINE. In case of very poor weather conditions, please watch your email for updates or cancellations. If you don’t receive notice of practice being cancelled, it will go ahead as scheduled. We ask that all athletes be at practice 10 minutes prior to start times so we can begin promptly. We also ask parents to be at the track 10 minutes prior to the end of scheduled practice times so when practice is over everyone can leave. While we understand that training does run over sometimes, it quite often ends as scheduled. Coaches cannot leave until everyone is picked up.We need parents to help with set up and tear down for some of the events; specifically pole vault, hurdles, high jump and long jump. If you are able to step in and help with this, it would be greatly appreciated!
